During a road trip to a remote northern cabin, a mother and her teenage daughter pick up a young hitchhiker, unaware the young girl is a thief working with her boyfriend to rob unwary travelers.

As the trip continues, a snowstorm brewing, Helen and Laura’s suspicions grow, but Carly is a charming and expert liar, biding her time until she can make her move. Soon they realize they’re being pursued by another vehicle, - a menacing Big Rig truck - and it’s not Carly’s accomplice.
